Like many of you, my anxiety was on one in 2020. There was so much uncertainty around what the world would look like. So much conversation around systemic inequalities - and that brought up a lot of past trauma for me. My drinking increased... then I realized I needed to get a grip. Plus, I needed something stronger than wine to get me through those dark days.
It was then that I discovered meditation. Mixed with prayer and therapy, meditation helped me to ease my anxiety. And find a calm.
